"Indeed, the worst of living creatures" (8:22), [meaning:] the creation, "in the sight of Allah are the deaf" to the guidance, so they do not hear it, "the dumb" regarding it, so they do not speak of it, "who do not use reason" to understand the guidance.
﴿إِن شَرّ الدَّوَابّ﴾ ﴿الْخلق﴾ ﴿عِنْد الله الصم﴾ عَنِ الْهُدَى فَلا يَسْمَعُونَهُ ﴿الْبُكْمُ﴾ عَنْهُ فَلا يَنْطِقُونَ بِهِ ﴿الَّذِينَ لَا يعْقلُونَ﴾ الْهدى.
