"And know that your properties and your children are but a trial"—a test, by which Allah has afflicted you so that you may obey Him in that which He has tested you with.
﴿وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ﴾ بَلِيَّةٌ، ابْتَلاكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهَا لِتُطِيعُوهُ فِيمَا ابتلاكم فِيهِ.
