[And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah, saying, "If He should give us from His bounty"]—meaning: if He expands our provision—["we will surely be among the charitable"]—meaning: the act of charity—["and we will surely be among the righteous"]—those who obey Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and His Messenger.
﴿وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ عَاهَدَ اللَّهَ لَئِنْ آتَانَا من فَضله﴾ فَأَوْسَعَ عَلَيْنَا مِنَ الرِّزْقِ ﴿لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ﴾ يَعْنِي: الصَّدَقَةَ ﴿وَلَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ﴾ مَنْ يُطِيعُ اللَّهَ ﷿ وَرَسُوله
