Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 75930

Translation · EN

"There, every soul shall test what it had put forth [in the past]." Mujahid said: This means it will experience the reward for what it had put forth in the world. It is also recited in another way as (tatlu), meaning: it will follow.

Ibn Mas'ud said: This is regarding the Resurrection; there is no one who used to worship anything other than Allah, the Exalted, but it will be raised up for him. "And they shall be returned to Allah, their true Master." [Meaning] their true Lord; and "Al-Haqq" (The Truth) is one of the names of Allah, the Exalted.
