“And whether We show you some of that which We have promised them” of punishment in this world, “or We take you in death” before that, so it will be after your death, “then unto Us is their return.”
﴿وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ﴾ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ فِي الدُّنْيَا ﴿أَوْ نتوفينك﴾ فَيَكُونُ بَعْدَ وَفَاتِكَ ﴿فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ﴾.
