Translation · EN

[It is] a brief enjoyment in the world. He says: The world and what they are in is an enjoyment with which they enjoy themselves, then it is cut off when they depart from the world.

Muhammad said: "[A brief] enjoyment" is in the nominative case (marfu') implying: That is [but] an enjoyment in the world.

Surah Yunus from verse (71) to verse (74).

﴿مَتَاع فِي الدُّنْيَا﴾ يَقُولُ: الدُّنْيَا وَمَا هُمْ فِيهِ متاعٌ يَسْتَمْتِعُونَ بِهِ، ثُمَّ يَنْقَطِعُ إِذَا فَارَقُوا الدُّنْيَا.

قَالَ محمدٌ: ﴿مَتَاع﴾ مرفوعٌ عَلَى مَعْنَى: ذَلِكَ متاعٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا.

سُورَة يُونُس من الْآيَة (٧١) إِلَى الْآيَة (٧٤).
