Translation · EN

His saying, may His name be Mighty: "Alif-Lam-Ra. A Book," meaning: this is a Book "whose verses have been perfected," meaning: the Quran, "then they have been explained in detail," meaning clarified; its lawful and unlawful matters, its obedience and disobedience have been made clear "from [the presence of] One who is Wise," who perfected it with His knowledge, "Acquainted [with all things]," regarding the deeds of the servants.
