Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 87229

Translation · EN

'And O my people, I do not ask of you for it'—meaning, for what I invite you to of guidance—'any wealth,' for it is only the wealth that I might ask of you that would drive you to abandon the guidance.

'My reward,' my recompense, 'is but from Allah. And I am not one to drive away those who have believed; indeed, they will meet their Lord,' and He will hold them accountable for their deeds.
