Translation · EN

"And his wife was standing," meaning: Sarah, the wife of Abraham. "So she laughed." Al-Kalbi said: When Sarah saw the apprehension of Abraham, she marveled at his fear, and so she laughed, not knowing who the people were. They gave her glad tidings of Isaac and said: We shall return to you in the coming year, and you will have borne a boy for Abraham named Isaac, and after Isaac there will be Jacob; meaning: after Isaac.
