Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 2 · Page 962120

Translation · EN

"And all that We relate to you of the news of the messengers," meaning: of the stories of the messengers, "is that by which We strengthen your heart" [...] that the prophets encountered the harm that you have encountered.

Muhammad said: "Kullan" (all) is in the accusative case due to "naqussu" (We relate). The meaning is: all that you need of the news of the messengers, We relate it to you. The meaning of strengthening the heart is: tranquility of the heart (f. 152), from calmness. However, the greater the indication and the proof for it, the more firmly established the heart will always be, just as Ibrahim, peace be upon him, said: "But that my heart may be at rest."

"And there has come to you in this the truth." Al-Hasan said: And there has come to you in this worldly life.

Surah Hud, from verse (121) to verse (123).
