in the well. "And We inspired to him: 'You will surely inform them of this affair of theirs,'" Qatada said: The revelation of Allah came to him while he was in the well regarding what they intended to do to him, "while they perceive not" what Allah has disclosed to Yusuf of their affair.
فِي الْجُبِّ ﴿وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُمْ بأمرهم هَذَا﴾ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: أَتَاهُ وَحْيُ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ فِي الْبِئْرِ بِمَا يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَفْعَلُوا بِهِ ﴿وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ﴾ بِمَا أَطْلَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ يُوسُفَ من أَمرهم.
