"And indeed We have explained for the people"—meaning: We have set forth for them—"in this Quran every kind of likeness."
﴿وَلَقَد صرفنَا للنَّاس﴾ أَيْ: ضَرَبْنَا لَهُمْ ﴿فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآن من كل مثل﴾.
