"Return to them," Qatada said: meaning the messengers. "And we shall certainly come to them with armies they have no power to confront," meaning: no ability [to resist].
﴿ارْجع إِلَيْهِم﴾ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: يَعْنِي: الرُّسُلَ ﴿فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُمْ بِجُنُودٍ لَا قِبَلَ لَهُمْ بِهَا﴾ أَي: لَا طَاقَة.
