Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 3 · Page 113260

Translation · EN

"And We caused to grow thereby gardens of beauty," meaning: beautiful. Al-Hasan said: The gardens refer to the palm trees. "You could not have grown their trees," meaning: that it is Allah who caused them to grow. "Is there a deity with Allah?" [read] as an interrogative; meaning: there is no deity with Him. "Rather, they are a people who equate [others with Him]," he says: they equate the idols with Allah, and thus they worship them.
