"And the day We shall gather from every nation a group (fawj)," meaning: the disbelievers of every nation, "then they will be driven (yūza'ūn)." Qatadah said: "They will have drivers (waza'ah) that force their foremost to wait for those who are behind."
﴿وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فوجا﴾ يَعْنِي: كُفَّارَ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ ﴿فَهُمْ يُوزعُونَ﴾ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: لَهُمْ وَزَعَةٌ تَرُدُّ أولاهم على أخراهم
