"And We forbade him from all nursing mothers before," Qatadah said: He would not be brought to any woman but that he would not take her breast. "She said, 'Shall I direct you,'" meaning: shall I guide you, "'to a household that will nurse him for you?'" meaning: who will take him in and nurse him.
﴿وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَرَاضِعَ مِنْ قَبْلُ﴾ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: جَعَلَ لَا يُؤْتَى بِامْرَأَةٍ إِلَّا لَمْ يَأْخُذْ ثَدْيَهَا ﴿فَقَالَت هَل أدلكم﴾ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ ﴿عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يكفلونه لكم﴾ أَي: يضمونه فيرضعونه
