[Moses] said, "That is [an agreement] between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I fulfill," meaning: whichever of the two periods I complete, and "ma" (in "ayyama") is extra. "[there shall be] no injustice [to me]," meaning: no claim can be made against me.

Muhammad said: "'Udwan" (injustice) is in the accusative case (mansub) due to "la" (the particle of negation). The root of the word is from "al-'ada'" (hostility), which is oppression; as if he said: Whichever of the two terms you complete, do not commit injustice against me by compelling me [to do] more than it. "And Allah is Witness over what we say," meaning: a witness.
