Muhammad said: It is said, "salaktu" (I inserted) my hand, and "aslaktuha" (I caused it to be inserted). "And draw to yourself your arm," meaning: your hand. "From fear" [that is: from terror]. He says: Draw it toward your chest, and whatever terror is within it will depart, as he had been overcome by fear of the people of Pharaoh. "Then those are two proofs from your Lord," meaning: two clear evidences; referring to: the staff and the hand.
