"Do you indeed approach men?" Muhammad [Ibn Abi Zamanin] said: "Do you indeed" is a term used in the form of an interrogative, but the meaning is that of an affirmation and a rebuke. "And you cut off the way," meaning they used to waylay travelers, seizing strangers and approaching them in their posteriors, and they would not do this to one another. "And you commit in your gatherings the abominable," meaning in your meeting places; this refers to them performing that act.
Surat al-Qasas from (verse 31-35).
