"Whoever disbelieves, then his disbelief is upon him," he will be requited for it with the Fire. "And whoever does righteousness, they are preparing for themselves," meaning: they are paving the way in this world for a dwelling in the Hereafter.
﴿من كفر فَعَلَيهِ كفره﴾ يُثَابُ عَلَيْهِ النَّارَ ﴿وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَالحا فلأنفسهم يمهدون﴾ يَعْنِي: يُوَطِّئُونَ فِي الدُّنْيَا الْقَرَارَ فِي الْآخِرَة
