‘You make none hear’—that is, you cannot make them accept from you—‘except those who believe in Our signs.’
Muhammad said: ‘In tasma’u’ (You make hear) means: You do not make hear.
تسمع﴾ إِنْ: يَقْبَلُ مِنْكَ ﴿إِلا مَنْ يُؤمن بِآيَاتِنَا﴾.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: (إِن تسمع) أَي: مَا تسمع.
