"And if you could see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord," disgraced and regretful, "Our Lord, we have seen and we have heard." They heard when hearing was of no benefit to them, and they saw when seeing was of no benefit to them. "So return us (to the world), we will do righteous deeds. Indeed, we are now certain," of that which Muhammad brought, that it is the truth.
﴿وَلَو ترى إِذْ المجرمون ناكسوا رُءُوسهم عِنْد رَبهم﴾ خزايا نادمين ﴿رَبنَا أبصرنا وَسَمعنَا﴾ سَمِعُوا حِينَ لَمْ يَنْفَعْهُمُ السَّمَعُ، وَأَبْصَرُوا حِينَ لَمْ يَنْفَعْهُمُ الْبَصَرُ ﴿فارجعنا﴾ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا ﴿نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا إِنَّا موقنون﴾ بِالَّذِي أَتَى بِهِ مُحَمَّدٌ أَنَّهُ حق.
