"And We gave Moses the Book," meaning the Torah, "so do not be in doubt regarding his encounter." Al-Kalbi’s interpretation: The Prophet met him in the sixth heaven on the night of his Night Journey (Isra'), "and We made it a guidance," meaning Moses, "a guidance for the Children of Israel."
﴿وَلَقَد آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكتاب﴾ التَّوْرَاة ﴿فَلَا تكن﴾ يَا مُحَمَّدُ ﴿فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْ لِقَائِه﴾ تَفْسِيرُ الْكَلْبِيِّ: فَلَقِيَهُ النَّبِيُّ فِي السَّمَاءِ السَّادِسَةِ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ ﴿وجعلناه هدى﴾ يَعْنِي: مُوسَى ﴿هدى لبني إِسْرَائِيل﴾.
