"To the dry land"—meaning: the barren, parched earth; that is, the One who gave life to this earth after its death is capable of giving them life after their death.
﴿إِلَى الأَرْض الجرز﴾ يَعْنِي: الْيَابِسَةَ؛ أَيْ: فَالَّذِي أَحْيَا هَذِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَنْ يُحْيِيَهُمْ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِمْ.
