Translation · EN

Muhammad said: Regarding His saying: ﴿يَحْسَبُونَ الأَحْزَابَ لم يذهبوا﴾ [they think the confederates have not gone], it was said: The meaning is: they think the confederates, after their defeat and departure, have not gone, due to their cowardice and fear.

Surat al-Ahzab (Verse 21 - Verse 22).

قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: قَوْلُهُ: ﴿يَحْسَبُونَ الأَحْزَابَ لم يذهبوا﴾ قِيلَ: الْمَعْنَى: يَحْسَبُونَ الأَحْزَابَ بَعْدَ انْهِزَامِهِمْ وَذِهَابِهِمْ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا؛ لِجُبْنِهِمْ وخوفهم.

سُورَة الْأَحْزَاب من (آيَة ٢١ - آيَة ٢٢).
