[O you who have believed, be not like those who annoyed Moses] to the end of the verse.
Yahya, on the authority of Hammad ibn Salamah, on the authority of Ali ibn Zayd, on the authority of Anas ibn Malik: "The Jews used to say that Moses was afflicted with hydrocele (ādar), and when he would enter the water to bathe, he would place his garment upon a rock. He said: So he entered the water one day and placed his garment upon a rock, and it rolled away. He went out following it, and they saw him, so Allah exonerated him from what they said."
