"And man invokes evil as he invokes good," He says: He invokes evil upon himself, his children, and his wealth just as he invokes good; and if Allah were to answer him, He would have destroyed him.
﴿وَيَدْعُ الإِنْسَانُ بِالشَّرِّ دُعَاءَهُ بِالْخَيْرِ﴾ يَقُولُ: يَدْعُو بِالشَّرِّ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَعَلَى وَلَدِهِ وَمَالِهِ؛ كَمَا يَدْعُو بِالْخَيْرِ؛ وَلَوِ اسْتَجَابَ اللَّهُ لَهُ لأهلكه.
