"Wealth and children are the adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds [al-baqiyat al-salihat]" are, according to the interpretation of al-Hasan: [the obligatory duties], "are better to your Lord for reward and better for hope." He says: They are the recompense for what they sent forth in the worldly life (folio 196), meaning they are rewarded for them in the Hereafter.
