"And they will be displayed before your Lord in rows" (meaning: in rows). "You have indeed come to Us just as We created you the first time," meaning: barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised, meaning: with their foreskins, uncircumcised.
Yahya: On the authority of al-Azhar ibn Abdullah al-Azdi, "When the Messenger of God recited this verse, Aisha said: 'Oh, my shame! Oh, daughter of Abu Bakr!' The Messenger of God said: 'The people on that day will be too preoccupied to look at one another; the first person to be clothed will be Abraham, the Friend of God.'"
﴿وعرضوا على رَبك صفا﴾ (أَيْ: صُفُوفًا) ﴿لَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا كَمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ أول مرّة﴾ أَيْ: حُفَاةً عُرَاةً غُرْلًا، يَعْنِي: غُلْفًا غَيْرَ مُخْتَتَنِينَ.
يَحْيَى: عَنِ الْأَزْهَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَزْدِيِّ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَمَّا قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: يَا سَوْءَتَاهُ لَكَ يَا ابْنَةَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ: النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَشْغَلُ مِنْ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ؛ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يُكْسَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ خَلِيلُ اللَّهِ "
