"So he came out to his people from the mihrab," meaning: the mosque. "And signaled to them," meaning: he gestured to them, "that you should glorify [Allah] morning and evening," meaning: pray to Allah in the early morning and the evening.
Surah Maryam from (verse 12 to verse 15).
﴿فَخَرَجَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ مِنَ الْمِحْرَابِ﴾ يَعْنِي: الْمَسْجِد ﴿فَأوحى إِلَيْهِم﴾ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِمْ ﴿أَنْ سَبِّحُوا بُكْرَةً وعشيا﴾ أَيْ: صَلُّوا لِلَّهِ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ.
