Volume 3 · Page 32160

Translation · EN

"Then they will enter Paradise, and they will not be wronged at all." "Gardens of eternity which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen." The unseen: the Hereafter. According to al-Hasan, the meaning is: He promised them in the world the Paradise of the Hereafter.

Muhammad said: It is read as (jannatun) in the nominative case, meaning: They are gardens of eternity. "Indeed, His promise is ever being fulfilled." Muhammad said: He means: 'atiyyan (fulfilled); and it is a passive participle from al-ityan (to come), with the meaning of an active participle.
