Allah said: "Nay, they will deny their worship" "in the Hereafter" "and they will be for them opponents" [associates in the Fire]. The meaning is: they will curse one another, and they will disavow one another, according to the interpretation of Qatadah.
قَالَ اللَّهُ: ﴿كَلَّا سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ﴾ ﴿فِي الْآخِرَةِ﴾ (وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا﴾ [قُرَنَاءَ فِي النَّارِ] الْمَعْنَى: يَلْعَنُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا، وَيَتَبَرَّأُ بَعْضُهُمْ مِنْ بعض؛ فِي تَفْسِير قَتَادَة.
