﴿هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَنْ يَكْفُلُهُ﴾ أَيْ: يَضُمُّهُ. قَالُوا: نَعَمْ. فَجَاءَتْ بِأُمِّهِ، فَقَبِلَ ثَدْيَهَا. ﴿وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا﴾ يَعْنِي: الْقِبْطِيَّ الَّذِي كَانَ قَتَلَهُ خطأ ﴿فنجيناك من الْغم﴾ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: يَعْنِي: مِنَ الْخَوْفِ؛ فَلَمْ يَصِلْ إِلَيْكَ الْقَوْمُ، وَغَفَرْنَا لَكَ ذَلِكَ الذَّنْبُ ﴿وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا﴾ أَيِ: ابْتَلَيْنَاكَ ابْتِلَاءً؛ الِابْتِلَاءُ وَالِاخْتِبَارُ بِمَعْنًى وَاحِدٍ ﴿فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِي أهل مَدين﴾ أَقَامَ بِمَدْيَنَ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً ﴿ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ يَا مُوسَى﴾ أَيْ: عَلَى مَوْعِدٍ؛ فِي تَفْسِيرِ مُجَاهِد.
