Translation · EN

"Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence (ulu al-nuha)" [meaning: minds].

Muhammad said: The singular of nuha is nuhyah. It is said: So-and-so is a possessor of a nuhyah, meaning: a possessor of a mind by which he refrains from base actions.

Surah Taha (from verse 55 to verse 64).

﴿إِنَّ فِي ذَلِك لآيَات لأولي النهى﴾ الْعُقُولِ.

قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَاحِدُ النُّهَى: نُهْيَةٌ، يُقَالُ: فُلَانٌ ذُو نُهْيَةٍ؛ أَيْ: ذُو عَقْلٍ يَنْتَهِي بِهِ عَن القبائح.

سُورَة طه من (آيَة ٥٥ آيَة ٦٤).
