"And what made you hasten from your people, O Moses?" Some of them said: This refers to the seventy men whom he selected, who then accompanied him to the appointed meeting place.
﴿وَمَا أَعْجَلَكَ عَنْ قَوْمِكَ يَا مُوسَى﴾ قَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: يَعْنِي: السَّبْعِينَ الَّذِينَ اخْتَارَهُمْ؛ فَذَهَبُوا مَعَه لِلْمِيعَادِ
