[He] said—then Moses turned toward the Samiri and said to him: "What is your case?" meaning: what is your argument, "O Samiri?"
﴿قَالَ﴾ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ مُوسَى عَلَى السَّامِرِيِّ؛ فَقَالَ لَهُ: ﴿فَمَا خَطبك﴾ أَيْ: مَا حُجَّتُكَ ﴿يَا سَامِرِيُّ﴾
