Translation · EN

He said: "I perceived what they did not perceive," meaning the Children of Israel, and what he saw was the horse of Gabriel.

Muhammad says: The linguists say that a man becomes "basura" (perceptive) when he becomes knowledgeable about a thing.

﴿قَالَ بَصُرْتُ بِمَا لَمْ يَبْصُرُوا بِهِ﴾ يَعْنِي: بَنِي إِسْرَائِيَلَ، وَكَانَ الَّذِي رَأَى: فَرَسَ جِبْرِيلَ.

قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: يَقُولُ أَهْلُ اللُّغَةِ: بَصُرَ الرَّجُلُ يَبْصُرُ؛ إِذَا صَارَ عَلِيمًا بِالشَّيْءِ،
