"Has your Lord then selected for you sons, and taken daughters from among the angels?" This is posed as an interrogative, meaning: He did not do that, because of their claim that the angels were the daughters of Allah.
﴿أفأصفاكم﴾ أَيْ خَصَّكُمْ ﴿رَبُّكُمْ بِالْبَنِينَ وَاتَّخَذَ من الْمَلَائِكَة إِنَاثًا﴾ عَلَى الِاسْتِفْهَامِ؛ أَيْ: لَمْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ؛ لِقَوْلِهِمْ أَنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ بَنَاتُ الله.
