"rather, it will come upon them suddenly," meaning: the Resurrection, "and it will bewilder them," meaning: it will confound them, "so they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be granted respite," meaning: they will not be delayed.
Surat al-Anbiya' from (Verse 41 - Verse 44).
﴿بل تأتيهم بَغْتَة﴾ يَعْنِي: الْقِيَامَة ﴿فتبهتهم﴾ أَيْ: تُحَيِّرُهُمْ ﴿فَلا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هم ينظرُونَ﴾ يؤخرون.
