Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 3 · Page 56476

Translation · EN

"And [mention] Noah, when he called out before [that]," and this was when he was commanded to invoke [curse] against his people. "So We answered him and saved him and his family," Qatadah said: Saved with Noah were his wife, his three sons, and their wives; all of whom were eight [people]. "from the great affliction," meaning: drowning.

Muhammad said: "Noah" is in the accusative case (mansub) based on the implied meaning: [Remember] Noah, and likewise [the mention of] David and Solomon.
