"fala kufrana lisay'ihi" (so there is no denial of his effort), meaning: for his work. "wa inna lahu katibun" (and We are recorders for him), meaning: We count his good deeds until he is rewarded with Paradise for them.
Muhammad said: The Arabs say: "ghufranaka la kufranaka" (Your forgiveness, not Your denial); the meaning is: We do not deny [it].
﴿فَلَا كفران لسعيه﴾ لعمله ﴿وَإِنَّا لَهُ كاتبون﴾ نحسب حَسَنَاته (ل ٢١٨) حَتَّى يجزى بهَا الْجَنَّةِ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: تَقُولُ الْعَرَبُ: غُفْرَانَكَ لَاكُفْرَانَكَ؛ الْمَعْنَى: لَا نَجْحَدُ.
