Translation · EN

"They will not hear its slightest sound" (21:102), meaning: its sound. To the end of His saying: "The greatest terror" (21:103). Al-Hasan said: It means the final blast of the Trumpet. "The angels will receive them" (21:103). Al-Hasan said: They will receive them with glad tidings when they emerge from their graves, and they will say: "This is your day which you have been promised" (21:103).

﴿لَا يسمعُونَ حَسِيسهَا﴾ يَعْنِي: صَوْتَهَا إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: ﴿الْفَزَعُ الْأَكْبَر﴾ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: يَعْنِي: النَّفْخَةَ الْآخِرَةَ ﴿وتتلقاهم الْمَلَائِكَة﴾ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: تَتَلَقَّاهُمُ بِالْبِشَارَةِ حِينَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنْ قُبُورِهِمْ، وَتَقُولُ: ﴿هَذَا يَوْمُكُمُ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ﴾.
