"And among the people is he who disputes concerning Allah without knowledge," meaning: the polytheist deviates concerning Allah, and thus sets up a god alongside Him without any knowledge that has come to him from Allah, "and follows every rebellious devil," meaning: one who is bold in disobedience, and they are the devils who commanded them.
﴿وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يُجَادِلُ فِي الله بِغَيْر علم﴾ يَعْنِي: الْمُشْرِكَ يُلْحِدُ فِي اللَّهِ، فَيَجْعَلُ مَعَهُ إِلَهًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ أَتَاهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ﴿وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَان مُرِيد﴾ أَيْ: جَرِيءٌ عَلَى الْمَعْصِيَةِ، وَالشَّيَاطِينُ هِيَ الَّتِي أَمرتهم.
