[Those who, if We establish them in the land]—meaning the companions of the Prophet—[establish prayer and give zakah].
﴿الَّذِينَ إِنْ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ﴾ يَعْنِي: أَصْحَاب النَّبِي (أَقَامُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ
