[And they enjoined the good]—meaning the worship of Allah—[and forbade the evil]—meaning the worship of idols.
Surah Al-Hajj (verse 41 to verse 46).
وَأمرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ﴾ بِعِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ ﴿وَنَهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ﴾ عَن عبَادَة الْأَوْثَان.
