"Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and the earth becomes green?" meaning: with vegetation when it sprouts, and He does not mean from that very night.
﴿أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَتُصْبِحُ الأَرْضُ مخضرة﴾ أَيْ: بِالنَّبَاتِ إِذَا أَنْبَتَتْ، وَلَيْسَ يَعْنِي من لَيْلَتهَا
