"So leave them in their confusion" (Quran 23:54), meaning: in their heedlessness. "Until a time," meaning: until their appointed terms. This verse is abrogated by the command to fight.
﴿فذرهم فِي غمرتهم﴾ أَي: غفلتهم ﴿حَتَّى حِين﴾ يَعْنِي: إِلَى آجَالِهِمْ. وَهِيَ مَنْسُوخَةٌ بِالْقِتَالِ.
