"Do they think that We are extending to them of wealth" (Quran 23:55), meaning: what We give them of wealth, "and children, [that] We hasten for them the good things?" (Quran 23:55-56), meaning: it is not for that [reason] that We extend to them [in] wealth and children.
﴿أَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ مَال﴾ أَيْ: نُعْطِيهِمْ مِنْ مَالٍ ﴿وَبَنِينَ نسارع لَهُم فِي الْخيرَات﴾ أَيْ: لَيْسَ لِذَلِكَ نَمُدُّهُمْ بِالْمَالِ والبنين
