Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 3 · Page 74271

Translation · EN

"And if the Truth had followed their desires," meaning: the desires of the polytheists, "the heavens and the earth would have been corrupted." Al-Hasan's interpretation says: If the Truth were according to their desires, their desires would have resulted in the destruction of the heavens and the earth. "Rather, We have brought them their Reminder," meaning: their honor; it is an honor for whoever believes in it, "but they are from their Reminder [from their honor] turning away."
