Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 3 · Page 74372

Translation · EN

"Or do you ask them for a payment?" meaning: a wage for what you have brought them, for you do not ask them for a wage. "But the bounty of your Lord," meaning: their reward in the Hereafter is better than any wage they might give you in this world, "and He is the best of providers." God may make the provision of His servants through one another; He provides for this person at the hands of that person, and God provides for them, "and He is the best of providers," meaning: the most excellent of them.
